Rarities, rarities, rarities...

Kvůli "The World Is Yours", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", "Life's a Bitch", kvůli legendárnímu coveru, kvůli beatům od Pete Rocka, DJ Premiera a Large Professora, kvůli Nasově flow, kvůli vzpouře, kvůli svobodě a kvůli mnoha dalším důvodům chceme zpět rok 1994 a chceme žít v New Yorku.

Because of "The World Is Yours", "It Ain't Hard to Tell", "Life's a Bitch", because of the legendary front cover, because of Pete Rocks, DJ Premiers and Large Professors beats, because of the flow, because of the revolt, freedom and many other reasons - we want back 1994 and we want to live in New York City.

Kromě našeho zjištění, že Berlín je naprosto ideálním městem, díky němuž můžete rozšířit vaši vinylovou sbírku, jsme zaznamenali pár dalších skutečností:

 * správný Berlíňan se pozná tak, že jde po ulici vždy s lahváčem v ruce, je jedno, jestli je to muž či žena.

*  všichni v Berlíně ignorují přechody a semafory - naštěstí je tu více kol, než aut.

* zastávky v metru je třeba si občas přejmenovávat dle sebe, jinak přijedete na místo, o kterém se vám ani nezdálo.

...ale hlavně je tu ta úžasná svoboda...

We found out, that Berlin is the best city to make your vinyl collection wider. We also noticed some other facts:

* The real Berliner is always holding a bottle of beer while walking by the street. It doesn't matter, if it's man or woman.

* Everybody in Berlin ignores crosswalks and traffic lights. Fortunately, there are more bikes than cars.

* It's better to rename some subway stations by yourselves - because then you can get to some strange place that you wouldn't dream of it.

...but there's an amazing freedom everywhere...

Amsterdam - The heaven of records

 

Minulé léto v Amsterdamu jsme kromě neodolatelných holandských vaflí a zvětšených stehenních svalů díky ježdění na kole nabrali také nespočet vinylů. Zavítali jsme hned do několika record shopů (Distortion Records, The Rush Hour, Back Beat Records), přičemž na plné čáře zvítězil krámek Waxwell Records. Hned první den a s poloprázdnou peněženkou se nám sbírka rozrostla o:

On our trip to Amsterdam in Summer 2014 we got fantastic Holland waffles, thigh muscles (thanks to riding bicycles all the time) and a lot of new reocrds. There were countless of record shops (Distortion Records, The Rush Hour, Back Beat Records), but Waxwell Records was definitely the best. For the 1st day we had almost empty wallet but we got:

Colorful summer

Na létě milujeme cestování. Poznáváme cizí místa, jejich vůně, chutě, barvy, přičemž se nikdy neobejdeme bez návštěvy minimálně jednoho vinylshopu. Následující pestrobarevné kousky jsme pořídili jak jinak, než v zahraničí (album Camp Lo - Uptown Saturday Night v Berlíně, single De La Soul - Buddy/The Magic Number v Budapešti, album Reflection Eternal - Train of Thought v Berlíně). 

Které vinylshopy/recordshopy máte v zahraničí nejraději vy?

We love summer traveling. Foreign places, scents, flavours, colours. We never forget to go to recordshop when we're abroad. These colorful records are from abroad, of course (Camp Lo - Uptown Saturday from Berlin, De La Soul - Buddy/The Magic Number from Budapest, Reflection Eternal - Train of Thought from Berlin).
